With the new adidas X20 Pro, adidas has turned the traditional glove design on its head. With this new development, a second glove line was created in addition to the Predator, which reflects the demands of the modern game.
Minimalism
The glove has been reduced to the essential without compromising on the necessary basic functions. The result is maximum confidence without distraction.
Rapid Response
The glove design reflects the natural position of the hand and shortens reaction time by facilitating the goalkeeper’s standby position.
Ultra Lightweight
The minimalist design and ultra-lightweight material mean that the X20 Pro Glove is 30 grams lighter than the Predator Pro. This makes it easier to react quickly in any position.
Palm/Foam
- URG 3.0S – 3D Speed Palm: The URG 3.0S is a brand new adhesive foam that extends the Unrivaled Grip (URG) series from adidas. It offers fantastic grip and cushioning properties. The ultra-light, two-layer latex creates a three-dimensional palm. The speed lines on the foam in a contrasting colour further enhance the ball feel and cushioning. This rubber is recommended for match and training use on all surfaces and under all conditions. It guarantees an improved performance for every goalkeeper.
Cut
- Negative Cut: Provides an extremely tight and firm fit over the entire fingers. In combination with the thinner URG 3.0S latex palm and the rounded layers, the glove offers an excellent ball feel and superior control.
- Reverse Stitch Rounded Gusset: The rounded layers combine adhesive foam and backhand into a perfect unit.
Backhand
- Performance Mesh Backhand: The light, highly flexible and breathable backhand offers a tight, natural and comfortable fit.
- The elements on the backhand provide structure and grip. They give the goalkeeper more grip and power when fisting. Thanks to the transparent design, a minimalist and light appearance is created.
Closure
- Bandage without Strap: The elastic bandage at the entry offers a secure and extremely comfortable fit on the wrist.
